Evening Session Youth Support Workers x 2 - HOOK

Fleet Phoenix is a Youth and Community Charity (1144057) Based in Fleet, Hampshire.

The dynamic youth work team at Fleet Phoenix deliver exciting and innovative youth activities for the young people aged up to 25 years old.

The youth club style projects allow young people opportunities for support, informal education and information, an opportunity to relax, take part in challenging activities, learn something new and have loads of fun.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two new posts for support youth worker/s to join the Fleet Phoenix team to deliver a youth work programme of activities at a new project to be based in Hook. The project in Hook will be for young people of secondary school age.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our friendly team to support the delivery of open access youth work projects.

 

2 hours, fortnightly comprising of 1.5 hours face to face and 0.5 hours for planning, resourcing, and evaluation.

This project is fortnightly and term time only. There will be an additional 10 hours annually for meetings and training.

 

The project will be held on Wednesdays, 7pm – 8:30pm - TBC

 

We are looking for people to join the team at the beginning of our journey to deliver youth work in Hook and be part of the planning and delivery of the project. This is our next step into delivering youth work in Hook.

 

Salary dependent on experience.

 

You do not need any previous experience in youth work, but some knowledge of young people needs and an ability to communicate with young people is essential. On-going training will be provided for the successful applicant.

 

All posts require an enhanced DBS disclosure and receipt of appropriate references.
