Welcome To The New Look Fleet Phoenix!
Updated: May 21
Welcome to the new Fleet Phoenix blog page and our very first one on our new website!!
What do you think of our new branding? We absolutely love it. We have been incredibly excited about this project and couldn’t wait to share it with you all. We had the idea to update it a while ago but until Helen, a local marketing and communication consultant reached out to us, we hadn’t progressed it but when she did everything just fell into place. She has been amazing and we couldn’t rate her highly enough (Brand Strategy | Colourful Dove | Fleet).
If you are new to the name Fleet Phoenix, then here is a little bit about why the charity was created and what we do.
Fleet Phoenix is a not-for-profit charity that was established almost 10 years ago as a response to youth services being cut both locally and nationally. It was set up by a group of very experienced youth workers who had previously worked for Hampshire Children’s Services. With the cuts being made, they didn't want to see the local area suffer with a lack of services for our young people.
We offer young people a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where we support, mentor and advocate for them. We also support the families to ensure they are all receiving the help and support they need. Based out of The Point Youth Centre in Fleet, we offer a variety of youth clubs, outreach, music projects, detached work, food bank and much more. We use a proactive approach which creates opportunities for early intervention to break down barriers to empower young people and the community to thrive. All of our projects have been developed and designed in a response to the needs of young people and the community.
A lot has changed over the last 10 years but what has stayed the same is our commitment to the young people and their families in Fleet and the surrounding areas. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the continuation of this much needed service. Our experienced team is backed by a wonderful group of trustees who provide guidance and support to the charity.
Our hope for the future is that we can continue to provide these services for many more years to come.
